Snapshots

Here are pre-release source snapshots for GNU FreeDink, automatically built from the latest version of the Git repository.

Since everything is automatic, the releases may or may not actually work (but in practice they should).

The snapshots are easier to compile than when checking out the Git repository directly, because some of the files from the build system are already generated. In particular, you do not need autoconf, automake or gnulib to build these snapshots.

freedink-snapshot.sh is the script used to build the tarballs, for your viewing pleasure :)

The debian directory contains a package repository. You can add:
deb http://www.freedink.org/snapshots/debian/ ./
in your /etc/apt/sources.list and then type:
apt-get install freedink dfarc2
to install FreeDink and its frontend. If you're under Debian Etch or Eee-pc, you'll need a few updates (backports), which you can get through:
deb http://www.freedink.org/snapshots/debian/etch-backports/ ./
The plan is to submit an official Debian package when legal issues with the game data are dealt with.

There's also a snapshot ArchLinux package: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=18194
